LGBT leaders to address Leadership Conference
Tue, Dec 2nd 2008, 10:51Speakers at the 24th International Gay & Lesbian Leadership Conference include Oregon Secretary of State-elect Kate Brown, Nepali member of Parliament Sunil Babu Pant and U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin. The conference takes place this weekend in Washington, D.C.
The conference, which will take place at the historic Mayflower Hotel, will feature a diverse line-up of speakers and workshops.
Scheduled guests include:
- Portland, Oregon Mayor-elect Sam Adams
- Pam Spaulding, editor of Pam's House Blend
- Zvonimir Dobrovic (director of Croatia's Queer Zagreb Festival)
- Former Ambassador to Romania Michael Guest
- New York City House Speaker Christine Quinn
